Cruise from Rosemont to Philadelphia in an enclosed trolley from the Philadelphia Trolley Works. Our first stop will be the fabulous new Ruth and Raymond G. Perelman Building, with its exquisitely preserved Art Deco façade, adjacent to the Art Museum.

After a morning tour conducted by Library Director, Dan Elliott, we will move on to the renowned Philadelphia Museum of Art and enjoy several of the fine exhibits there.

Free library

Lunch will be on your own at noon at any of the fine eateries in or near the museum.

At 1:15 p.m. the trolley will ferry us to The Free Library of Philadelphia for a behind-the scenes tour and a look at some of their special collections. We’ll start with the Prints and Pictures Collection, and move on to the Music, Maps, Theater and Automobile Collections.  Hop aboard the trolley at 3:45 p.m. for the relaxing return trip to Rosemont.
