Support the Continuing Education Council
Funding for the Council comes from personal members like you, and from Institutional members of TCLC. Staff who are either personal members or work for an institutional member are eligible to apply for grants.
Since 1990, funds have been awarded to librarians and support staff alike for continuing education. The Council accepts applications for grants twice a year, in the fall and in the spring. Grants are awarded for all types of continuing education - workshops, conferences, online training, and programs that will improve the participant's skills in support of library positions.
With your support as a personal member of the CEC, our endowment fund will grow and make available the additional funds needed to keep up with the increased need for, and increased costs of, continuing education. You will be eligible for grants, and for election to the Council as the Personal Representative.
